After a morning visiting the HCM Mausoleum and Presidential Palace, we decided to stroll back to Old Town and stop here for lunch along the way. It was a bit tricky to find via our guidebook, but worth the search. The food was fabulous and an incredible deal. Apparently the family is from Hue originally and showcases some of the specialties from there.
Some of our dishes included very sticky and chewy shrimp dumplings, fried spring rolls, and tasty and fresh grilled pork with noodles. The family was making beef wrapped lemongrass skewers in the kitchen as we walked out, and I wished we would have given those a try too.
An incredible value, under $10 including 2 pepsis, and both my husband and I left well satiated.
This would be worth the trip even if it's not on your walking route. Probably our tastiest restaurant meal in Hanoi.
