We had lunch at Countryside during a private Hanoi city tour. It included about 7 dishes that we split between the two of us. Each dish was unique, colourful and well presented. The flavours were very fresh, clean and bright. Prepared well.

Deco was casual and would be able to accommodate groups or children.

Service was friendly and efficient

The first time I went here was with a friend in the morning. We just wanted a drink before checking in to our hostel.
The staff were friendly, spoke decent English and the place itself seemed very welcoming.
No problems.

The second time 3 of us went for dinner. The guy that served us didn't have as good English but he was trying quite hard and we got there in the end with the food which is all you can ask for, although the drinks order was wrong. The food was mixed. I enjoyed my chicken cashew well enough (nothing spectacular) however my friends found their meals a little bland.

Overall I would say this place is OK and wouldn't say don't go, however I wouldn't go back as I think there are better places nearby.
Tip: avoid the blue coffee. Looks impressive but not a great taste at all.

We didn't have time for a cooking class but we had a lovely meal here at a very reasonable price. Nice atmosphere

Safe and a bit unexciting, decent service with reasonable prices. Comprehensive menu of western and Vietnamese dishes.
