“Great buildings and gardens”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Although the place itself is great the organization is just a bit too messy.
I can honestly say it is one of the most unique places in Hanoi and very peaceful although your in the middle of the city. The only thing is that things seem a bit run down and the entertainment level is very low.

“Interesting place, nice gardens!”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Nice gardens, but unfortunately when I went it was raining a lot and the place tends to get flooded.
Be careful walking the grounds because it tend to be slippery on the adobe tiles. Great statues throughtout but you need a knowledgeable guide who could explain and narrate the history behind the altars, statues and art found here. Very reasonable price for admission. Folkloric musicians gather on the mini auditorium located at the back of the property to play some traditional instruments. There were a couple of ladies there playing and it sounded very nice!
Had a nice, energetic guide who didn't rush me at all.
