Owner description: The One Pillar Pagoda (Vietnamese: Chua Mot Cot, formally Dien Huu tu 延祐寺 or Lien Hoa Dai 蓮花臺) is a historic Buddhist temple in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. It is regarded alongside the Perfume Temple, as one of Vietnam's two most iconic temples.

It was a nice place to take pictures. But only for 5 minutes or so, because there is nothing else besides the pagoda and the boats on the lake. We sat outside this prayer room but was asked to leave as there was a ceremony or something inside. Like a mass. The way we were asked to leave was not very nice and friendly.

A small wooden structure on top of concrete stairs and a small pond. That's it. This place isn't that interesting, but the large number of people selling drinks, food, and touristy knick-knacks might try and convince you otherwise. It is right next to the HoChiMin Musuem.

Small pagoda.
Near Museum.
I basically sits no higher than a house.
Nothing special about it, its surroundings , or the museum near by.
I didn't even bother getting a photo of either,
and didnt think it was worth the walk to visit !!

Touristy, not of much interest. Overall underwhelming. The best thing I can say about the One Pillar Pagoda is that it was near the HCM Mausoleum so it was not far out of our way.

A small but the oldest pagoda in VN. The architect of this pagoda is unique. It's worth visiting when you are on the way to visit Ho Chi Minh Museum
