“Good place to visit!”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

Hanoi doesn't have so many interesting sites as Ho Chi Minh, but this one is good and worth the visiting, besides the gardens and the lake inside provide you an excellent spot to take very pictures!

“Interesting visiit”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

Great to see how this humble man lived. The building is well located near the Palace and is worth the visit. Well maintained and very orderly.

“Maybe better with a guide?”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

Visitors get to see where Ho Chi Minh lived for several years. The place is immaculate and very respectful.
I wish it had some explanations so that I could learn a bit more!

“A national hero house, you know what to expect.”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

Like in most of the countries, the place where a national hero used to live is filled with a variety of objects, rebuilt rooms and so on to showcase him.
The gardens are magnificent, since the Mausoleum was closed we spent a couple of hours here, it was just fine.

“Interesting recent history”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Couldn't visit the Mausoleum as Ho Chi Minh wasn't there, but his residences were worth seeing. Lovely walk in shaded paths around each of his residences. Gained more insight into this man who the west reviled during the period of the War. Good to learn more about him and his vision for Vietnam even though he never saw it completed before his death.
