This is one street not to be missed - not just because of the numerous shops and shopping to be done but also to just chill out have a beer and check out the skill and deftness displayed by drivers and riders alike! Good place to watch the world go by here.

The old quarter is a great area. All the streets in the old quarter are related to a trade or an industry. its a great place to wander around and the French tourists make me laugh. Make sure you can read a map before you set out and watch out for the motorcycles and keep your valuables close

It can be very hectic navigating this street. However, it was where we found the best value for shirts and blouses. KhaiSilk is just way too expensive now but quite a few independent designers have shops competing now. Elsewhere we found it was mostly junk!

It is a great place to see how trading was done years back. It was indeed old or ancient or antic. Being old, it is a bit run-down, smelly, dirty and humid.
