Owner description: This museum was opened in 1966. Though in need of updating, some interesting artifacts are on display in its three floors organized chronologically.

Spent about an hour here checking out the local art. There wasn't many people around and the pathway through the gallery is a little confusing but there are plenty of art works to view.

There is certainly a major emphasis on revolutionary art and Vietnamese propaganda but it doesn't necessarily detract from the enjoyment of seeing some nice works.

The gallery is a little away from the city centre but if you enjoy art and have the time you will appreciate a visit

Definitely worth visiting. Older art was interesting although nothing especially remarkable. However, we were impressed by the contemporary art.

Some great pictures but will be spoiled because they are not looked after. Staff sit together and chat rather than ensure the art collection is safe. Flash photography is allowed which will eventually ruin some of the exhibits. If you are in the area worth a visit but don't make a special journey. They shop was shut with no explanation either.

Several floors were closed, there is no plan to carry around and the staff seemed more intent on knitting than directing one. Loads of toilets/ dear gift shop(s) which appear to be run by comercial groups not museum. Very near to Museum of Literature so go there instead unless you are really into Communist war propaganda and socialist art asian style
