I' m not complaining about Hanoi Melia Hotel . People working there are so nice, sweet, helpful, welcoming. They upgradet me to an apartment room. Clean. Goob breakfast. The only disappointing thing is that it needs a refresh, it still has old moquettes in rooms. Otherwise it s in a good location. It s a touristic hotel, for groups of people.

Stayed for 3 nights in October, very good stay all round. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi. For ease on first night ate in hotel restaurant - seafood buffet - which was excellent, choice was unbelievable. Although quite expensive in relative terms, worth it and free wine was included! Staff very attentive and friendly. Even provided a full breakfast for our group on a 5am early morning start, thank you.

To join the conference with people about 800, I stayed at Melia hotel on September 2012. Hotel is easy to access.I got a van that it parked on the left side of the airport about 4$.The front service of "Melia hotel" was the same 3 stars hotel but room service was excellent. I stayed at the 10 floor. I could see the city view during the sun rise. You can walk about 20 min to the Loan Kiem Lake, if you want to see the water puppet or shopping around there. The hotel's taxi service very expensive. The security is good. The elevator and room were accessed by key card. Breakfast was variety and good taste.

Room Tip: choose high level. There is a goo view of Hanoi city.

The Melia hotel is a very comfortable hotel handily placed for Hanoi visits with clean spacious rooms and very friendly staff. The hotel has free wi fi in the lobby but commands a premium in the rooms....something which seems prevalent all over the world. There is a fantastic buffet breakfast which will set you up for the day. When we were there there was a large conference going on with important delegates which inevitably meant increased security which was a little annoying but the staff mitigated this. There is a regular shuttle bus into the centre of Hanoi which is free and reliable. The Vietnamese dong makes you feel like a millionaire which indeed you are if you cash £33 this hotel helps accentuate that feeling.

Very good central location, clean, spacious, comfortable and well eqipped rooms. Slept very well.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed a super buffet dinner with the unexpected bonus of a huge and delicious complimentary grilled lobster. Buffet breakfast was also excellent.

Overall, very happy with our stay here.
