So much has been written about the excellence of this hotel (and deservedly so) that I won't spend too much time writing about the beautiful rooms, the Lanvin bath products, the cocktail menu or the wonderful service. Let's just say that a five star hotel that actively discourages tipping (they warn against it in your welcome literature and instead provide a communal box in the lobby should you wish to still share some largesse) whilst maintaining amazing service levels is doing something right.
As for children, we stayed here with our five-year-old for five nights. He was welcomed with colouring pencils, a colouring book and a little bath robe just his size. This place is not stuffy and really makes kids feel welcome. The food options are varied for children too. Our son had a blast in the pool (which is actually quite small) and had a fun time exploring the grounds.
