Now I struggled with this review of this hotel. The clue in the problem is in the name and the expectation (European, I grant you) that this hotel would offer something different that come with the 'boutique' label. It didnt. It is pretty bland as hotels go and beware - not many of the rooms have windows (which is like a double edged sword as those which dont tend to be quieter from the incessant noise of the traffic outside). The rooms were clean and well appointed - although the bathrooms are separated by a misted glass partition which protects privacy but little else. The staff are efficient but not really that friendly and the breakfast was mediocre and cramped in the little restaurant. OK as a base for a few days in Hanoi - but I would not recommend and would not return.
A small point - the doors slam VERY hard and loudly which if you have inconsiderate other guests (as we did on our floor) does prove a problem.
