We decided we wanted to ride from Hanoi to HCM on motorbikes and did some research on the best way to do it. The most common way seemed to be buy a bike in Hanoi and sell it in HCM. We didn't really favour this option as not knowing too much about motorbikes we didn't know what to look for in a good bike and also didn't want the hassle of having to sell the bikes again in HCM.
Flamingo provide an excellent alternative to this. The people at the shop were really helpful, even suggesting a route and list of places to stay.
The guys at the garage were equally great, giving us some practice on the bikes before we set off and giving us confidence in the bikes.
We had a few hiccups on our journey but this was our doing not that of flamingo (punctures, getting lost, rain storms!) in fact we were confident in the bikes and Flamingo for the whole period.
On arriving in HCM after a couple of hours riding in the traffic we found the hotel and were finished with our trip.
A quick call to the HCM branch to give them our location ad they came to check over our bikes and collect them.
This was an excellent service with documents and deposit returned readiily. My bike had some damage from a fall which resulted in the loss of a small amount of the deposit but this was very reasonable and fully justified.
Over all I would highly recommend Flamingo to anybody who wants a bike but doesn't want the hassle of buying and selling one, also having confidence the bike has been maintained in good working order. Nice powerful bikes too!

Over all loved them and couldn't recommend them more.

This one-day tour was great. DId not have time for multi-day trip but this tour took us in HN traffic, in the country side, hand-mde ceramic, prints, villages, etc. Stopped at local resto fo lunch. There is no doubt that we would have not seen these places if we had not taken the tour.
Not recommended for someone who never rode a motor bike but a must for all others.

We did the North West with Hue as our guide and I have to say these guys come highly recommended! The bikes were perfect for the journey (XR250's) well maintained and with Tien as our mechanic for the 8 days we had no problems. Flamingo are by far and away THE best value for money trail bike tour company in Vietnam. They look after every detail and make your journey very special, thanks guys.

So it started in Ho Chi Minh City from the branch office, we rented 4 Honda wave RS 110cc. All of them were in good condition. We set out on the journey to Hanoi. The bikes did not miss a beat. 10 days after we set off we arrived with no problems from any of the bikes even after so long hot days of non stop riding. After this we went to Sapa on 2 Honda XR250, They booked us on the over night train and changed the flight for the girls. They also took us to a snake restaurant stayed there for 2 hours. Amazing service.. Above and beyond!! Needless to say the XR250's were amazing on the mountain roads around Sapa and the north of Vietnam. Thank you Flamingo travel

We rented 3 Honda xr 125, two of which were expanded to 150ies as we had two on them and it cost $25 a day per bike, we did a four day track in North Vietnam and it was one of my things to do before I die so I loved it. The bikes were fantastic and they gave us a quick course in maintaining the bike and fixing tyres, gave us tools and spare parts and tubes all just in case lucky we didn't need. The guys there were also very helpful
