My husband spent 4 years in Korea and is always saying how amazing the food is out there so after 5 days of Vietnamese food in Hanoi we decided to go for Korean one night. The position of the restaurant is great - at the northern tip of Hoan Kiem Lake in the same building as highlands coffee where the City View cafe used to be (I think). Mi Han Quoc is on the top floor so you get a brilliant view from the balcony of the hussle and bussle on the streets below.
The food, my husband informs me, was authentically Korean and it was everything he described and more. We actually ended up going back on another night because we loved the food so much. The staff were friendly, the food came out quickly and it was really fresh. It wasn't a busy restaurant even though it was fairly large so either it's fairly new or it's a really well kept secret! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone fancying a break from Vietnamese food - simply delicious!
