This is one of the friendliest hotels I've stayed in in Vietnam- full of extremely kind staff and always there to help, they were also full of recommendations at decent prices for tourists in comparison to others.
The room we had were clean and cozy. Although situated on a busy street, we have had no problems sleeping at night and my boyfriend is a light sleeper.
Breakfast is good, a variety of choices compared to other hotels I've been to in Vietnam.
We went on a tour to Ha Long Bay, which was recommended and organised by the hotel staff, and it was absolutely amazing.
We got chatting on our last night to one of the staff members, King, and he offered us his personal rice wine made by his mother!
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Hanoi for a few days- we had a great stay in this hotel.

Nice hotel and very nice room in the town center of Hanoi. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff amazing. The guy at the reception ("King") was very nice and friendly, always keen on helping with any kind of request.

Good and clean hotel with helpful staff, breakfast and facilities. Staff was very helpful in arranging tour to halong bay, ba be lake, hoa lu-tam coc tours and also city night tour on bike. The location is close to night market and other city centre (old quarter).

After having read rave reviews about the place and the staff, me and my daughter booked in for 2 nights on returning from Cat Ba. Check in was ok but not exceptionel. The room had no window, but was otherwise well equipped with really good martress and nice pillows. The separate shower was also very nice - good pressure and lots of hot water. My two stars therefore refer to room facilities and shower. The rest was a dissappointment. We were in room 203 - possibly the worst room in the hotel due to position right above the open breakfast area and kitchen. This meant that as the staff used the place as a social gathering place, shouting, talking and smells from their dinner preparation filtered unhindered into our room! Not very nice!!! On top of that, after 2 months travelling in Vietnam, I have never come across a more unengaged staff... they are preoccupied with their own personal stuff, and don't really seem to care that they have guests staying. Furthermore, the breakfast is a stale affair: bacon and sausage sits pre-fried on the buffet, there is only tea, coffee and water to drink, and we pottered around for quite some time before anyone asked if we wanted to order from the (limited) menu. Also, the staff would just pass the buffet and help themselves to whatever they fancied. There are so many nice and affordable hotels in Hanoi - so stay somewhere else!
