My husband and I stayed in the honeymoon suite. Big clean room with a comfortable bed. Big window. Laptop provided with fast internet connection. The service is superb. Very friendly staff that will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Not to mention great location. Laundry service provided at 40,000vnd ($2) per kilo. Two computers in the lobby for customer use. A satisfying breakfast provided at no additional cost. Would recommend!
We also stayed in a regular double bed suite for one night and it was also nice, just smaller.

Room Tip: If money is not an issue for you, pick the honeymoon suite. It's on the fifth floor. Big window...

My friends and I recently stayed at Tu Linh Palace for 2 nights and had the best time. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the rooms are great and the staff are just fantastic! Tim is an absolute legend who will do anything he can to make you feel welcome and help you out with your travels. There is endless supplies of tea, coffee, juice and fruit whenever you return to the hotel and the breakfast was good. The hotel is also very accommodating...when we did our trip to Halong Bay for the night, they allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel, collect it the next day and use the hotel facilities to change ready for our night train even though we weren't staying another night there.

I would highly recommend this hotel!

Tim is the bomb!!! The hotel is very clean, cozy, and has complementary breakfast. The location is great--close to good restaurants, shops, and lots of bars. The concierge Tim is phenomenal--he gave excellent recommendations for food, walked us to, and translated for us at the pharmacy, and even helped us cross the street! Overall amazing place, especially given the price!

I don't think I've ever enjoyed a hotel as much as the Tu Linh Palace. We stayed here for two nights and then booked additional nights when we returned from Sapa and Halong Bay a few days later. The room was great, and an absolutely incredible value. Breakfast of Pho and fruit (or a traditional egg-type breakfast, which honestly we never chose to have) was included along with free coffee and tea and either juice or water all day long. However, the absolute best thing about this place was the staff! They were always incredibly friendly and helpful. I love Tim, who was maybe one of the friendliest people I have ever met in my life and made me smile every time we walked in or out of the hotel. He is well-suited to the job as he appears to have a wonderful time getting to know guests and helping them out.

We came into Hanoi one morning between an overnight train and a morning departure for Halong Bay and were invited back to the hotel for breakfast. This was a great gesture as it was a bit of comfort in between a lot of travel.

As for more practicalities, I loved the location. In the old quarter, but not necessarily down smack dab in the middle of the very touristy places, which I prefer. Everything was easily walkable, and motorbikes, bicycle taxis, or regular taxis were easy to acquire from the hotel.

I don't know if I left anything out, except that we got a good chuckle out of the mini bar, which is perhaps the only mini bar in the world that is actually cheaper than what we would pay in a convenience store. Needless to say, we drank almost everything in there. Another representation of what a good value. We loved this place and will definitely go back if we are ever back in Hanoi!

My friend and I stayed 3 nights there.. the room was clean, the location is in the center of old quarter. The best is the staff was very nice, great service, and helpful. When we came back to the hotel after travelling all day long, there is always the offer of drinks (water, coffee, tea, juice).
The staff was always smile and helpful. One occasion when we arrived very late there , my friend very needed to eat because she's sick and had to take some medicine, but there's no restauraunt around there that still opened, amazingly the staff cooked for her a bowl of noodles for free.. very nice staff :)

I stayed there for 5 nights in the first weeks of July: 3 nights in their Duluxe Room and 2 nights in their Honeymoon room. The whole was excellent and everything was perfect. The rooms were neat, clean and modern. The breakfast extensive for a budget hotel and they do not restrict the quantity. The services of all the managers and bellboys were simply great. Tuan, Kim and Binh were excellent throughout my stay and very patiently provided us reliable information on everything in Hanoi. For business travelers, the internet connection is reliable and there are also writing desk in the room. The best place to work is actually on the dinner table at the ground level. The table is big and there are free flow of beverages the whole day. I would definitely stay here again during the next trip!

My husband and I stayed here as part of our Vietnam trip. This hotel is a great place to stay, the rooms are clean, tidy and very comfortable and it is in a great location. The best thing about this hotel though is the staff. When you come back to the hotel there is always the offer of fruit, coffee and juice. They arranged our trip to Sapa for us as well as to Haling Bay, booked our tickets for the water puppets and did everything they could to make our stay in Vietnam as easy and fun as possible. They recommended places to visit around Ha Noi as well as places to eat, everything thry suggested was perfect. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
