This was our first stop on a month visit to Vietnam. We had planed to stay just four nights but being such a great location and having such friendly staff from the restaurant, to the reception and the doorman, we extended our stay for a further four nights after our Ha Long Bay and Saaba trips. Dee one of the receptionists organised these tours, with all transfers, food and accommodation, even to having a room available for us when we got of the night train at six in the morning. It was this detail including the friendliness of the staff that made this the best accommodation and some of the best times on our holiday.
On arrival at the Hotel we were warmly greeted with a complimentary drink and warm towel. We were given a map of the area and great tips and places to go for food, shopping, coffee, money exchange (thank you excellent rate) and landmarks.
The room was clean and serviced everyday with fruit and water refreshed daily.
The staffs were friendly, very efficient and there English was good. They had a real attention to details even to preparing us breakfast for our 5.00 pm flight on check out.
I found Hanoi Holiday Diamond Hotel on trip advisor and would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel.

When i come to visit Hanoi, I always book a room in the Holiday Diamond.
The rooms are nice and cozy. The staff is amazing, very friendly and lovely. Everyday complementary fruit and coffe in the room and the breakfast is really well done, you choose from the menu and eat as much as you can. Situated in the old town, so you can just walk around and go everywhere without the need of a taxi.
They know what hospitality means

Ideal place to stay while you are in Hanoi. We have stayed here for 2 nights just before our Ha Long trip and after that. They got everything you are looking for - true hospitality, helpful staff, nice rooms with lovely smells inside, great location and local expertise.
As soon as we arrived there we got complimentary tea, city map with detailed instructions, highlights of the places worth visiting and eating places as well.
We were offered to leave our bags with them for free while we were in Ha Long Bay. When we came back I had a travel sickness and they were so worried about me. On our departure day they also got our breakfast done in advance as we were leaving at 3.30 am. They packed everything so we could have our breakfast after the check in in the airport. It still was hot when we ate it.
And today, almost 3 days after we left, I received a letter from them just asking how am I and how was our trip. That was sooooo nice )))

Basic hotel but cant really complain as its also pretty cheap so what can u expect. We stayed two nites, a night before and after our halong bay trip. Rooms are small and windows has a wall right up against it so pretty dark. We tried to nook our second nite at reception when we arrived but was told it was full went online through various sites saying there were 5 rooms available so had to book that way. Staff were nice though and tgey stored our bags ehile on trip. Surprisingly breakfast was amazing, prob the best breakfast we had!

A great hotel to stay for the convenience as well as the pleasant, friendly and efficient staff whose commitment to their work is par excellence! The room is clean. We benefitted from earlier review before our trip and wished to reinforce this for other travelers.

The location of the hotel in the Old Quarter was just about perfect. It was very near the locations of interest but still on a particular street which was well lit, where there wasn't much noise and where it was relatively safe as there was some sort of a security office on duty just right around the bend.

The room we stayed in was incredibly nice, equipped with temp control AC, hot and cold shower (water pressure was really good even in the 4th floor where the room we stayed in was located), complete toiletries, flat screen tv with lots of cable channels and beds which were very comfortable. Room maintenance is also done daily or if you especially request for it.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, definitely have to try their rice noodle soup with chicken, egg omelet and banana pancakes. Another must-try is their watermelon juice, which we ordered over and over! It will definitely get you filled up to start your day right in exploring the city.

The best reason why our stay here was great is because of the staff. They were just down right excellent. They were very prompt with the usual services and very accommodating with our particular requests. From the airport we arrived at the hotel at around 2am but were still welcomed graciously. Moreover, a couple of times we came back to the hotel in the wee hours of the morning from a night of being wasted and drunk and ready to piss about but we were still welcomed graciously! This was really, really very kind of them. You can definitely feel the hospitability vibe in the hotel.

Our stay in Hanoi was truly one of the best experiences we've had and is made possible largely because of Hanoi Holiday Diamond Hotel. To stay in this hotel is definitely priceless. We'll be coming back in Hanoi soon and don't even ask, because we'll definitely be staying here again!

we arrived in hanoi around 2am and searched for this hotel by taxi. me and my friends cant seem to figure out how far it was from the airport during that time. but as soon as we arrived at the hotel, two of their staff woke up (as they were obviously sleeping at 2am) and immediately accommodated us and were given welcome drinks which i might add was really refreshing. we decided to look for a feed as we were hungry from the flight so Mina pointed us to the direction of where we can get some food during that time. she even let us borrow umbrellas as it was really raining hard. they took care of us from the get go.

the next day, the staff at the reception gave us a city map and gave us directions to the places we wanted to go and do. it was the first time we've seen how busy the area of this hotel is - which is good because it's near to almost everywhere we wanted to go and do - eat (amazing streetfood), shop, take photos and obviously party (and drink). great location if you really want to immerse yourself in some old quarter adventure.

as for the room we got, there were 3 of us so we got an extra bed that was comfortable. room was neat and clean. bathroom was excellent. hot and cold shower. a functional desktop that you can use (which is a plus). flat screen tv that showed loads of live football matches (which we prefer) and wifi signal that's pretty strong and useful when we searched for places.

they also gave us a good deal for our halong bay day tour that they booked for us that already included transfers. breakfast food at the hotel was amazing. i loved the beef rice noodles, bacon ham and cheese omelet and cheese & bacon toast. my hangover meal. let me just say that they also have the best watermelon juice. im not a morning person but i'd force myself to wake up earlier than usual just to have breakfast in their hotel.

i also liked the part where everyone in the hotel were always smiling, asking us how our day/night went, exchanging jokes with us. they treated us like family. they definitely went the extra mile in providing excellent service.

To Candy, Cherry, Mina and all the staff at Holiday Diamond Hotel, thank you very much. You guys were one of the reasons why our stay in hanoi was memorable and exceptional.

Im definitely coming back and I'll be staying again in this lovely place.
