“Great food and atmosphere”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

Went here on 3 separate occasions and had a great time during each. Had the pork sandwich and the orange cake and both were excellent. Not as cheap as some places in Hanoi but still cheap enough.

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

We found this lovely place via an article in the Air Asia inflight magazine written by Gwen Rakotovao. After a major exercise in trying to explain to our cyclo drivers (2 couples per cyclo) where we wanted to go, we arrived @ our destination. The French facade and entrance to The Hanoi Social club showed that we were in for a treat. We went upstairs to a lovely little open air room with a nice sofa and chairs. The menu had a good selection of food as did the drinks menu. Spent a relaxing hour or so eating, drinking and with the free wifi you can check emails or share holiday pics. Will return again.

“Decent place for chilling n small talks”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

- Location: central yet quiet, kinda like a hideaway
- Interior/ atmosphere: very laid back n easy, have an old Hanoi feel to it, more unique than Puku, but very much simialr
- Menu: nothing that special, a little overpriced for the serving and quality of food/drink
- Food/Drink quality: I had the slushie (?!?) n it sucked, the brownie or lava cake thing, however made up for that, one of the best in Hanoi, rich n decadent :)
- Service quality: it's alright, not the most friendly people u can find, food/drink comes a little too slow as well

Overall this is a decent place to chill w ur friends, n that's about it :)

“Tranquility in the midst of Hanoi's Old Quarter”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

Tucked away in a quiet street is this restaurant/cafe. Set in an quaint three storey house with a delightful roof garden, you can sit downstairs, in one of the rooms upstairs or in the roof garden. Relax and enjoy a full meal, for which the menu is varied, or you can just enjoy a coffee or a something stronger. The place is so peaceful, which quiet chill out music of varying genres, it's easy toi spend a few hours here. As a bonus, I found the staff here to be very courteous and well spoken.

“A lovely, hip haven away from the hustle.”
Reviewed May 1, 2013 via mobile

You'll need to pay attention to find the little street this place is on, but once you're there you'll never want to leave. No touts, just good vibes, hearty helpings, and great service.

Staff here are KOTO alumni, and there is great support of Vietnam Pride, an equality group in the community. Good to see.

If we lived in the area, we would be regulars.
