Though it's quite far from Hanoi center, the place is absolutely stunning. Mr. Thanh Chuong has paid attention to every small details inside the palace for us to understand about Vietnamese culture and tradition.
I was reminded of my childhood and impressed by peaceful atmosphere, fresh air and sounds of nature u can no longer in Hanoi's hustle and bustle. Also a great place to take photographs as lighting and setting is unique and gorgeous
But it's better if you can go here with a Vietnamese so he/she can explain the meaning of statues, symbols and so on. There is a guide book provided in both English and Vietnamese but it is of little help if u want to understand anything in depth
