Being a part of a tour group, finding places to eat in Vietnam that can accommodate large groups is quite a feat. Luckily, one of our tour mates had stumbled along this cafe/restaurant and suggested we do our final dinner there. I am so glad that she did because it was an absolutely lovely experience. The food is good, but it really is the staff and view that makes all the difference. They were able to fit 16 of us on the rooftop, give is separate checks, and not mess up our orders once during our 3+hour dinner. We also had some difficult and finicky personalities in our group, which Avalon Cafe knew how to handle. If we ever had a problem, the manager personally came up to us and dealt with it, which was really nice. Make it a point to check this place out if you have a group while in Hanoi!
