Tried to find it this evening, turns out its closed down and is becoming a Joma (good coffee).

There is another western food place just up the road called puku where I am now - will review later...

“lovely little place with excellent food”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

great European food but doesn't serve any Vietnamese. Had the best meal in Hanoi here with a great cocktail and a wonderfully decadent chocolaty dessert (cant remember what it was but it had an oreo cookie base)

There was a waitress who spoke the best English spoken by any Vietnamese we met in Vietnam who learnt it by watching movies. Service was great.
Can highly recommend this place but it is rather expensive by Hanoi prices but still good value.

“Fine choice”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

Just over the road from Hanoi sky Hotel, makes this an easy choice. By Vietnamese standards you will find this an expensive place, but I found the food and service to be first rate. Especially if you dine after 5pm, which is their "Happy Hour"

“Good food, good venue, but very quiet”
Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

Interesting location on a street which is packed with local restaurants. This is one of only two places on the street which cater for westerners. So plenty of street action to look at while you order. The restaurant is upstairs, and if you're luck you can sit on a deck outside. Food is fusion. Probably more international with a Vietnamese twist than Vietnamese with an international twist. Has steaks etc if you're fed up with noodles! Good very well done, with lots of interesting taste combinations. Mains about 250,000 VD ($11) but varied quite widely. Wine list was impressive and well kept so drinkable!

Only trouble was, the restaurant was empty. That meant we could sit with a great view over the street, but did mean. The atmosphere was a bit flat. Staff handled it well, and weren't constantly hovering. But I do wonder if their location means they struggle a little when the tourist trade is down a bit. Still, I'd recommend it.
