Service was good - too bad the food was so bland. Out of 5 different dishes the "Insalate Mista" was the only dish with any flavor. The asparagus soup was like eating so much paste - without the flavor of paste. The soup was slightly curdled and absolutely tasteless. The French Onion soup was made with chicken stock instead of beef stock and was very greasy. Neither of the pasta dishes we had were at all tasty. Can't remember the last time I put so much salt on any kind of food. Apparently no one mentioned to the chef you need to add some salt or other type of seasoning to food when you cook it to develop the flavors. I would eat street food before returning to this establishment.

We ate here twice in 2006, the place was packed, the food sensational, we tried to get in a 3rd time but couldn't.
We were hanging out to get back here again, but, I guess you can never go back.
We were the only ones there, the service was slow, the pizzas beyond basic, mainly cheese, thick gluggy base, nothing like before which were ultra thin.
Give this place a miss!

We've all said it, "the only relationship between Mama Rosa pizza and pizza is the word. They use a red wheat, it's too bread like. The cheese is way too much and the flavors are soft and flabby.

Now, the house wine is good, no better, but a great place to drink a carafe and calm down at the end of the day in a pretty, small room with air conditioning.

And a great location too.

A lot of reviewers seem to be criticising the lack of authentic Italian cooking in this vietnamese owned restaurant in the middle of Hanoi. But if you have a pizza craving then this will definitely satisfy!

Crispy base, stringy cheese and some parmesan (style) for sprinkling over the top. Many different toppings from basil and chilli to gorgonzola and asparagus. It's also a good size and 170000vnd for somewhere right next to the lake you can't really complain.

Nice decor in a mocked up Italian villa style and cooling air-con all make this a great place to grab a bite. Do it!

Actually, tired and hungry, I thought this was the Mediterraneo, which had good reviews.

Took a Romana pizza, but only a few anchovies, but a plethora of onions.... Wine was okay, but that's all.

If you're looking for an italian restaurant, go to another !
