“valuable hotel and friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2012

This hotel's staff are very friendly. Rooms are very clean. Of course you can use hot water. it's not big but it's too small in the old quarter. in comparison, it takes only 5 minutes to Hoan Kiem Lake and it's easy to find the restaurant around the hotel. the girls at reception are very helpful.
I highly recommend to stay in AURORA!!

I had rented 3 days on the basis of the pictures on internet and decioded not to further stay while discovering the bed rooms .

the AC was unsuffiicent and the furniture too narrow to have a place for working.

i decided to leave after one hour.

absolutely dreadful! dirty rooms, uncleaned towels, and the positive things said from the other reviews were unheard of! what good service? what cleanliness? staff speaks HORRIBLE english and very unhelpful! they pester you with their tours, and after joining their halong bay tour and return to the hotel for our last few nights, our room got downgraded from our original deluxe room that we paid for. so horrible.. what is up with all the positive reviews? i seriously question that. i can not see myself giving this hotel a full 5 stars - i can do 2 stars at best with the only positive note being its location. words can not describe the nightmare i've experience here... omg.

We stayed stayed at Thaison Palace Hotel for 4 nights and found this hotel perfect in all ways. The room was large and very clean. The facilities were modern and new. There was a computer in every room for free using Internet. Breakfast was mini buffet - not too much food but very fresh and delicous. We agreed with almost reviews that this is the best hotel in Hanoi now.
