We stayed at the Indochina One in the old quarter for five nights. The Staff are very helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. They are professional and treat you like family. We left with a very touched heart.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter.

I've never seen such a friendly and helpful service in VN, this hotel is well located, nearby the 36 streets quater, still in a relatively calm street. Frankly, this helps to relax after a long and noisy visiting day in Hanoi. But go to another place for your laundry, they did overcharged us a lot for it.

We have stayed at this hotel for 10 days and it was pretty nice stay overall. The staff is awesome - good English, smiling all the time and great attitude to their clients. The breakfast that was included in the room price was very good - everyday the same choice of food but there are both European and Vietnamese options and every order is made personally for you. Pancakes were marvelous! The room was rather big and clean and we were given complimentary fruit every day. And some drawbacks. The shower pressure was rather low (perhaps due to shower head problem). The last problem was with the PC. I didn't want to get the notebook with me and was promised the PC in the room. The PC was there but there were lots of viruses there and Skype couldn't be installed properly. We have changed several PCs and it took about 3-4 days to get Skype work properly. I would advise to get your own laptop with you and to get cheaper room without PC. In case of need, you can always use the PC at lobby for free. And the room view was just the wall outside of the room.

The location is nice in the old quarter - it is noicy and construction take place on an off.
The rooms are friendly with a cosy style. Breakfast is very nice. Internet worked in the rooms I used, the better ones, but the rooms begin to be worn down a bit. The staff is very nice and helpful and it makes it very nice to stay in the hotel.
