Don't need a lot of time here, but it's worth a visit when you are near West Lake. Very peaceful setting visited by visitors as well as locals offering their prayers and sacrifices

Oldest pagoda in Hanoi. Small pagoda at west lake area, worth to visit. Many beautiful statue inside and the place was very sacred due to many people pray inside. I came here when there's a prayer for the soul who have died.
I take bus no. 14 from Long Bien to reach this place. No admission fee but donation are accepted.

Came here as part of a tour, and glad to do so as he pointed out a lot of things I otherwise wouldn't have known, such as the story of the tree opposite the temple.
You don't need long here, but a walk around the grounds is well worth doing on a trip to Hanoi.

We could see this pagoda on a penninsula from window of the elevator in Sofitel Plaza hotel and at a walking distance. The metal lotus flowers look very pretty all around pagoda especially from a height.Pagoda is nicely laid out and of religious importance to locals many of whom were offering prayers there.A serene place and offers good glimpse of vietnamese temple culture.
