I do not know why everyone is raving about this place. Okay it's cheap and the majority of people are travellers but there is no need for it to be so dirty. We arrived and the guy at reception was rude and not very nice. Good first impression. We got to our dorm and the bed we wet given still had the dirty sheets on from the previous people. The cleaner seemed annoyed that she had to change the bedding and didn't bother changing pillow case or duvet. Yum. Bar is horrible as is the beer, it's free but I'd rather pay 70p for something abit nicer. Wouldn't go back

We stayed in a 3 bed private room for 2 nights. The room was okay, bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and was quite smelly. Breakfast was okay, coffee was a very good vietnamese coffee. The free beer was terrible.

The location is very good. The staff was very helpful and nice.

This hostel is in a good location in the old quarter. The receptionist when we checked in was not great, he was too busy talking to his friend to be helpful. The room we had was dirty, dirty bedsheets with stains and hair and a very moldy bathroom that made the room smell foul and kept us awake most of the night. Breakfast was boring (bread roll with a tiny blob of jam). Having in stayed in other hostels in Vietnam I can safely say this was the worst. I wouldn't stay here again.

The receptionist in the morning was more helpful although she did try to get us to book a tour with her even though we had one booked, saying ours might be a fake?! There were also no clean towels left in the morning as it was 'busy'.

Great staff very friendly and helpful. Know a lot of good local spots, will exchange (at a very fair rate), will help in any way possible. Free beer hour is a great way to meet people and sample some of the local beer.

Excellent location, the street quietens down at night (enough) to sleep, air con is a huge plus.

Would stay here again If I didn't want to try the other places on offer!!!

We arrived at this hostel on a bit of a whim after a long days travelling and not really knowing where to go with it being our first day in Vietnam. Luckily they had beds and we got put in a 6 bed mixed dorm for a good price. We stayed here two nights and had great fun on both of them starting off the night in the bar downstairs which has free beer from 7.30-8.30 and a wicked place to meet people. Good music and snake shots! Breakfast in the morning included as long as you wake up in time and staff very friendly and willing to give a helping hand. One of the best hostels I stayed in in Vietnam!
