Came here in September 2013 with my wife. Overall it's ok, the main selling point is the location in the middle of the old quarter, if you're into that. Friendly staff but several things were pretty disappointing - no windows (that brought in any light) in the room (which was 'deluxe'), the swimming pool is the size of a bath tub, and most annoyingly there were building works going on. The noise really was a distraction from our room - I wouldn't mind but the hotel didn't say it was undertaking building works anywhere until you got there. They said that they wouldn't start until 8.30am but they started at 7.30. Also, they don't make up rooms until after 2, which seems bizarre. There's a gym which has a treadmill, some weights and some bizarre vibrating machine that claims it burns about 100 calories per minute. No towels or water mind...
To be fair, the room was well presented and clean, the breakfast was pretty good and it didn't cost much. Overall, it's a hotel that will very much suit guests who want to be in the heart of the old quarter, don't spend any time in their room between 7.30 and 6 and don't want to go swimming.
