This hotel was booked by Trailfinders and was exactly as described and expected - I.e. a small basically comfortable hotel in the midst of the noise and chaos of the old town in the run up to Tet.
I stayed once for a 3 night period and once on a day room basis.
The room was clean and the aircon was quiet and efficient. The breakfast buffet was limited, but adequate - bear in mind that this is not a 5 star hotel with the associated costs !
One of the managers, Kevin, was more than helpful in making arrangements and I found the front desk staff helpful given some had limited English.
One word of caution re trains to Sapa, make sure your taxi takes you to the correct station - Sapa trains depart from both stations !More
- Free Wifi
