Staying at the hotel we had a deal that gave us a complimentary dinner at the restaurant. The deal included a choice of one of three set menu options and choosing option one that came with pork, (we were craving meat!) we were delighted. The pork meat came in a hot clay pot and was so tender like lamb and with a soup, speciality salad and rice as sides, we were more than satisfied. Furthermore, the flavours of each dish were exceptional and so fresh. We had no ideas about the great reviews on tripadvisor and no seeing them, I understand why. The food (and service) was fabulous. And the restaurant is intimate, classy and very charming with white tablecloths, pink lillies and soft ambient lighting, not to mention the lovely hanoi city views.
HIghly recommend this restaurant so much so that we dined there the next night to order off off the Vietnamese menu (they also have great western food) and we recommened and took another couple we met to have dinner at this restaurant. The spring rolls here are divine as was the cashew nut chicken stirfry and the french chocolate cake dessert! The staff also couldnt do enough for you. A MUST try!!!
Furthermore, this place is great value with average price of vietnamese dishes being about 100-180 dong from memory which in aussie dollars is about $6-$9/10 a dish.
Tip: Make a booking as this place fills fast! Last order 9.45pm I think it was.
Also a great hotel to stay at too- value for money, god service and classy rooms.
