A wonderful experience in Hanoi! Our guides were lovely girls, and full of fascinating facts and stories about the history of Hanoi (and Vietnam). A great cultural experience and unique way to see the city and its attractions.

Just like all the other reviewers of Hanoikids we had a great day with our guides Hien & Thung! I had booked our day a long way ahead to make sure someone would be available on our first day in Hanoi. All emails with Hanoikids were promptly replied to.Thung met us just before 9 and was asking us what we would like to see & do, not long after Hien arrived after parking her scooter. Caught a taxi to the Temple of Literature, where they both explained the symbolism & history of the area. Taxi to have egg coffee- yum! Then walked around the streets, stopped at an ancient house, quick walk over the red bridge and then a great lunch at a local restaurant.Taxi to Ethnology Museum where we looked at the different styles of houses outside before going inside to look at the exhibits there. Returned to hotel and had iced coffees next door at a coffee place. Felt very guilty that we couldn't give them any money for the great day - we all learnt so much from each other, including trying to get used to the large denominations of the dong! Will definitely be making a donation to Hanoi kids so they can continue this great service. Would use them again on our next return. Thank you so much- Debbie & Warwick

I don't think im going to bring anything new to the table here... just to mention what a wonderful time we had with our guides Lihn and Hoa... a nice walk through the old city with my wife and 1 year old daughter. Unforgettable experience which is really worth it. As some reviewers said here this should really be the very first thing u do after arriving to Hanoi... keep it up Hanoikids!

Like to take this opportunity to thank our two lovely ladies, Ly and Ha to bring us around HCM Complex and the Temple of Literature. We appreciate the time you took from your precious Sunday morning to walk us through these two iconic landmarks amid an unforgiving hot weather. A big thank you from Eliss & Family, Theresa, and Maggie

I couldn't recommend this experience highly enough.. We were met promptly by our guide at the allocated time and meeting place. She was a wonderful young woman with a great command of English and very happy to chat and give her point of view and shar experiences, which we found appealing and refreshing. This was not our first time I'm Hanoi, so we didn't want to revisit the usual. We were able to explain this to her and as a consequence she happily took us off the beaten track so to speak. We ended up in some wonderful less touristy streets, in a coffe house overlooking Hoan Kien with a magnificent view. We did ask to go the the Women's Museum which was wonderful and then finished with a lunch at a restaurant that we would never have found, eating delicious food that we would never have ordered. We felt we had a wonderful orientation to the city, tailor made for us, with an intelligent and interesting young woman. Our guide Thao, was truly exceptional.
