“Gorgeous place - average coffee”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Westernised coffee shop in the heart of the Old Quarter, this is great for the westerners that miss the whole 'Starbucks' coffee chain vibe. It's clean, cool, well furnished and has a lovely outside seating area. The coffee is of the same quality as Starbucks, which is ok for SE Asia! I would recommend this place to everyone as it's very affordable - just 45000 dong for a large Americano plus 1 refill. Not sure about the food as I didn't order any. The free wifi is another plus, making it a great place to spend an hour or two catching up on stuff.

“cozy cafe right at the street”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

we was walking around looking for a cafe to both get some coffee and a little something to eat. The inside reminded us of a eurpean stylish bar, and the atmosphere was good. The coffee and the food was very good, we are certainly coming back

“Comfortable coffee retreat”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

A great cafe for when you need a bit of western comfort. There is a large lounge at the back with comfy sofas, cool air con and wifi for the internet deprived. A great place to chill out after an exhausting day in the old town. Once we found this place we kept finding ourselves back here.

They have build your own sandwiches (which we enjoyed), cakes and yummy juices and smoothies. I enjoyed a fresh passionfruit juice which comes with sugar syrup to add to your taste. The vanilla milk shake was yummy and thick but still refreshing. Almost a dessert in itself!

Joma has a good selection of teas, English breakfast to Jasmine, including a London smog (earl grey with frothy cappuccino style milk), weird but my husband says it works. The have a fairtrade and organic western coffee selection including decaf.

They do take out and even delivery if you can’t bag a comfy sofa.

“When you crave western food it's JOMA”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

I like to food and the coffeehouse atmosphere and the wi-fi. Joma's food is very good and fresh. When I get a craving for bagels and cream cheese or a Ruben sandwich or just soup and salad I head for JOMA.

“Why JOMA”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

I miss the first JOMA on DBP. It was a very cute villa with many levels cute attic and courtyard. All the sweet staff are gone and always running around confused. No parking ? In Hanoi all cafes take care of your bike don't ask you to park a whole street away and pay! The coffee is so so and cake tastes quite old. Many tourists funny to watch though but seating separated by long hallways, bathrooms can be dirty too.
