Clean room and great location close to the centre of Hanoi. Very modern bathroom and great wifi facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Did book a triple room and the third bed was a very hard 'put-me-up' bed. Breakfast also very basic - just bread, jam and cheese, and some hot rice.

Nonetheless, for the price, incredible value for money and wonderful hospitality.

We arrived in Hanoi after a full 24 hours of travel from Canada and were grateful to have ordered the hotels shuttle. (the price for both of us was cheaper than our "by the meter" taxi back to the airport a few days later and nice to have someone specific waiting). We were greeted by the amazing and friendly Moon and checked in right away. Through our stay the staff were all very friendly, the included breakfast was delicious, there was always free fruit set out with tea and coffee and the counter staff were full of suggestions, advice and directions. They had a small fridge of water in the lobby you could take to your room and add to your tab which was very nice after a long day of walking this beautiful old quarter for which the location of this hotel was very nicely situated. The rooms were clean enough, beds were very firm, and the stairs were a good kick start to our 3 weeks of trekking. Cant say enough about the amazing staff.

Had large room on third floor with large windows facing street. Street noise not an issue, quiet at night. Room tended to get humid if AC not on but we opened window to balcony and that helped. Good basic breakfast with bread and eggs, help yourself to fruit and coffee/tea. Good location for walking in old town, Women's Museum (great!), to Ho mausoleum. Front desk super helpful with map, eating recommendations, sightseeing, etc. Also arranged taxi to meet us at airport after long flight, booked tickets for bus to Cat Ba, and good hotel there, and for night train to Lao Cai. Our first hotel in Vietnam and we were very happy.

Arrived from the airport by taxi and was stopped on the way by a man telling us blue sky was fully booked and he would take us to our new hostel, we stood our ground though and the taxi driver took us blue sky hotel. I suspect this had nothing to do with the hotel thought. Greeted by the owner who was a lovely lady and were offered free tea and coffee. The room was fairly basic but generally clean and everything seemed to work well. There was no water for half an hour on our second day but this was not really an issue. The owner gave us a map and told us the best places to visit and some places to eat she recommended, we visited two of then and weren't disappointed at all. Overall good for backpackers and people on a budget.

We stayed in this hotel at beginning of April for 3 nights. Hotel is in a great location in the old quarter, within walking distance to some attractions and the night market on the weekends.

Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we checked into our room straight away and the staff gave us a quick overview of the area and how to get around.

There was just two of us travelling and we were given a triple room which was nice to have the extra space. Bathrooms are nice and clean and beds comfortable. Our room faced out on to the street which was obviously noisy during the day, but got quiet around 11pm when everything started to shut for the night. Breakfast was included which was usually basic egg and roll or chicken and noodles. Free tea and coffee available aswell.

Only cons were that there was no lift if you happen to end up on top floor and no safe in the room, but we felt safe leaving our belongings there.

To be honest we didn't spend much time in the room but for $18 a night you can't go wrong. Would recommend.

Like most budget places in Hanoi, be prepared to climb stairs. Apart from that I can't recommend it enough. We got a double for 10€ with breakfast, big room, a/c, big lcd tv, bathtub(!), and no mold. Beds were made everyday, which is not so common at this price range.
And best of all, the restaurants and street food recommendations that we got, made our stay in Hanoi even more enjoyable.

This budget hotel is great for the young & the backpackers; not recommended if you have knee problems or have difficulty in climbing up & down the stairs because there is no elevator service on the hotel.

Staffs are very friendly & helpful. They will help you in booking for the airport transfers, city tours, etc. They will recommend you the best places to eat, where to shop, & go the sights/spots for you to see.

Rooms are clean. Bed is comfortable. Basic breakfast is included with the usual selections of bread, eggs, noodles, fruits, etc. They offer free flowing of coffee & tea for you at any time of the day.

Location is very good since the area is a few minutes away from the night market. A good & delicious place to eat pho bo is also quite near the hotel. There are shops around the area for you to look around. Mini marts are also quite near the hotel. The nearest supermarket is called Intermix (not sure of the name) which is an estimated walking time of 15 mins.

Room Tip: If you really want to stay here but you have a problem on walking up & down the stairs, the hote...
