I am very impressvie with the hotel management, especailly, Mr. Quag was a very excellent director who has a very good knowlegde of running his hotel from comming to hotel so early to check and make sure all of the guests have a nice morning buffet....and room I and my wife stayed was a very clean....big room and we also went to Halong bay for 2days/1night via hotel's tour desk for very reasonable price. I will definitely come back here with my colleagues in the beggining of next year. Thank you guys and keep it up Mr. Quag.

Safely arrived home after a terrible and stressful stay with paloma hotel hanoi. Apart from the prominent location in the area of the west lake, the hotel itself is hopeless. The building and room is not maintained, dirty floor and bath tub, curtain blinds falling down, hot water tube not even working, no sound proofs walls, poor untrained staff, etc etc. Even worse, we booked for hotel transfer to the airport and charged us US15. Suddenly turned us a taxi instead of hotel car but no one told us so. The crazy taxi driver locked a bicycle down and run as he needed to hide from the police and nearly made us miss our flight (only minutes before counter closing). Really drove us crazy!! Will not stay in this outrageous hotel anymore!!!! You guys , please dont.

Stayed here two nights. Not too bad, but the only thing to really recommend this place is the location in Tay Ho, close to expat area with decent restaurants and out of the madness of the old quarter. Hotel has zero sound proofing, so you will hear every noise from the room above you. Hotel also has a strong sewage smell although it is not clear if this is issuing from the "river" or from its sewers. The room I checked into was 'river view' meaning it had a window over the "river" which is actually just a branch of the nearby lake. Cost was $55 and not worth it. Be aware however, that the "lake" view room does have a view of West Lake, but also fronts the street so it's really noisy. There was supposed to be a breakfast buffet, but instead it was ordering off a very limited menu. Food ok, but not great. For the price, there are other better choices. But if you have to be in Tay Ho on a more limited budget or just transiting to the airport, it is ok. Staff is very friendly and helpful however. Hotel needs maintenance, bathroom was sub par with almost no light, limited hot water (can't even fill tub) and grunge around the edges.

booked rooms for friends and myself for 1 night due to transit in Hanoi. 30 min away from Noi Bai airport, reasonable price for rooms. our rooms did not have any windows, except giving into corridor, but when in transit - does not matter. friendly reception staff, quite clean rooms, free wi-fi, small breakfast - in conslusion - good for 1 night. far from city-sightseeing center.

Quite far from the central Hanoi - but closer to the Noi Bai airport - 30 min drive on Monday 7 a.m. Good choice if you are on a transit through Hanoi. Service and food are excellent, rooms are clean - but mind - many of them do not have windows, check when you book. Kim Lien pagoda within the walking distance. I can recommend it for a transit stay in Hanoi.

highly recommended by the rough guide. so i had reserved the more expensive lake view room, but upon arrival i got the river view room. even though not available they keep the lake view room available on the booking site (latestays.com). a nice way to catch guests???
about the river view room: there is NO river. just some gruesome water. rather depressing. so checked out after 1 night.
the room is comfortable. but very very noisy due to the use of tiles in the whole hotel.
breakfast was basic.
the hotel is VERY far located from downtown hanoi. so you spend a fortune on corrupt taxi drivers.
