Completly run down, we have been back packing for some time and the picture are nothing what so ever like the rooms here. Hotel, I dont think so!
it was filthy smally and damp, one bed was as hard as concrete, we were kindly given fresh douvet covers, it was ashame these too were damp! We had other peoples rubbish in the room as well as 2 very old pairs of used flip flops, were the staff using this as a spare room?, we had booked in advance and were very shocked.
The owner constantly pushed tours on us, which we politly refused and demanded taxi money from us when we asked for our passports back, when 5 mins before we had paid for the room. The taxi was supposed to be complimentary and cost the same as the room, no manners or politness were shown and he became very aggressive, I though Vietnanees were supposed to save face? when we nad never raised or shown any bad feelings towards staff.
We politly left and are enjoying a fablous room in the dragon 2, althougth it is above our budget it is well worth it. I wold very rarley write a bad review but we are both left feeling disappointed and ripped off, as ithink 5USD would have been ample, not 15.
