It seemed to be nothing you couldn't find in a shop in the daytime, and many stalls selling the same stuff, so after a bit of a look we grabbed a cab to a restaurant elsewhere. We had been warned that there there was danger of pickpockets so this did not make us want to hang around.

Theres nothing you cant buy there absolutley everything you could possibly think of and more. Most recomended, but be wary of pickpockets.

Busy and nothing that I was really looking to buy. We were warned by several people about pickpockets but had no trouble personally. It is funny that motorbikes came through the market despite it supposedly being closed to traffic.

This night market cannot be compared with Bangkok night market or similar. Narrow streets make it worse when it is crowded. Beware of prices. They may ask 10 times more than the actual price.

We went to the night market hoping to score some warmer clothes to wear. We found everything to be of poor quality and overpriced. I'm not sure what would interest foreign travelers at the market. There are no crafts and the only decent clothing we found was Chinese and much more expensive than the local products.

So, unless you just like the hustle and bustle of the street market, there is really no reason to go here.
