We went here with our Vietnamese Hanoi Free Tour Guides ( highly recommended - see review) for lunch and we let them choose for us and the food was great - beef pancakes with rice paper, pork spring rolls, noodles with clam and tomato and another noodle dish, tea,a papaya shake and beer - everything was great and there is nothing that was bad or poor.... total cost $17

Worth a visit and full of locals...

“Vietnamese cuisine at its best”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

Great dining experience - and a great place to sample a broad range of Vietnamese cuisine from all its regions. Great value for money. Expect to pay about USD10-20 per head.

“for foreign tourists who wants almost all VN dishes in one place”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

The restaurant gives feeling about Vietnamese tradition. There's plenty of VNese dishes, which are the most typical ones, for tourist to try. It's easy for group or solo travelers. Although the serving speed is not very fast (partially because the restaurant is crowded), i think it's nice enough to try.

“The best theatre I've ever seen in a restaurant!”
Reviewed October 4, 2013 via mobile

Try all the street food you're too scared to try on the street because you either can't decipher the menu, are worried about the hygiene or it looks too unusual to eat.

Surrounded by street food style cooking stations you can sit and order from the menu in both English and Vietnamese, which also helps you learn if you want to try the real thing on the street in future

Really nice location outdoors with lanterns strung across the courtyard, super fast efficient service

Only downsides are loos are disgustingly dirty, surprising as everything else is so clean, and they charge you 2000dong for a napkin which is not much money but seems a bit cheeky as you only find out at the end when you get the bill.

Recommend the broken rice with pork skin and pork pieces and the hai phong style spring roll

About 450k dong for two. A lot of fun also

“Nice place to enjoy vietnamese food”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

We found this restaurant while walking in the neighborhood. The restaurant room is situated in a large patio. The food is very good, there is a large choice of vietnamese courses.
The only inconvenient : it may be too crowded at a certain time of the day!
