Our hotel recommended the restaurant as we wanted authentic Vietnam food. The restaurant was packed when we arrived but we managed to find a seat.

Our waiter, Hung, was very friendly and spoke good English. As a result, we left it up to him to order our dinner for us. Everything he brought to the table was delicious and reasonably priced.

If we ever go back to Hanoi, we will make a return visit.

This is a bustling restaurant which seems to have a mixture of locals and tourists. We visited just before 12 and had no problems getting a table. This is a good place to escape the streets and sit down and enjoy street food regardless of what the weather is doing. I suspect that there is probably better true street food around however this is a good place to start as all dishes are made under one roof and in more hygienic conditions; you may then find a new favourite to look out for on the streets.
The staff on our visit were very attentive even noticing that we had a wobbly table and fixing it.
Worth checking out.

This is like the Cheesecake Factory of Vietnamese food, only good! The restaurant is huge and has a lot of cooks and waitstaff, food from all over the country is represented. We ate here every night in Hanoi. Most telling is the fact that we saw lots of locals eating there.

We came to Vietnam for local food rather than western food and that’s the reason why we came to this restaurant following the recommendation from our travel agency. We loved this place so much that we came here again. The food was really delicious, tasty and you don’t expect the food to be served that quickly. If you decide to come here, don’t forget to try Bun Cha, it is the best.
