“Great food and live music”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

We visited this restaurant during our visit to Hanoi in March. The food was very good, the ambience quite nice and there was even a live pianist playing which was a nice touch. Try the trio of creme brulee!

“Excellent dinner”
Reviewed April 3, 2014 via mobile

This was a great experience. The food was excellent, clean tastes, well spiced and nothing overpowering. First course of 5 flavours using leaves, interesting and very good. Pumpkin and crab soup subtle and refined. Soft shell crab great. Mains were very good. Service was excellent, attentive, delightful and very professional. About 100 us for two, but we had four courses and a little wine, which was very good value for the quality of food. Small down side room lacked a little atmosphere. Highly recommended.

“One of the places for foodies in Hanoi”
Reviewed March 29, 2014 via mobile

Located in an old French Colonial house, Ly Club is one of the great places for foodies in Hanoi. You have the choice between 2 a la carte menus (east and west) as well as 8 set menus.
We opted for the vietnamese food. Scallops (highly recommend) and calamari a for starters, then fried snapper (was good but not great) and pear wrapped in beef (I highly recommend).
Apple crumble with coconut ice cream for dessert. Light and tasty. Service is fine. Wine list is fair. With some affordable and very expensive ones.
