We stayed here and found that the listed amenities on most of their listings (this 'house' in particular goes by at least three names - as do their other 'houses' or rooms) is inaccurate at best, completely fabricated at worst. Check what you are paying for as we got ripped off quite badly - and I am a seasoned traveller !
I did enjoy staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We met the owner who invited us to watch a performance in the evening but unfortunately we were not able to attend. It rained a lot when we arrived but the house didn't leak. Also they are building a pool so was dusty and noisy but the staff put us in a different room and were friendly about it. Breakfast and meals were all homemade and pretty decent. They also catered for a very picky eater.
It's a little hard to find the place. Also be aware there are lots of mosquitos. The tree house does provide you with some mosquito protection but by that point it was too late for me. ;)
We absolutely loved staying here for our last night in Hanoi. It was a little further away than the city but it was just what we needed. The treehouse was cozy and everything we had hoped for. It was bucketing down but luckily the treehouse didn't have any leaks and we were happy inside. There wasn't much access to restaurants around but we were lucky that Ming prepared all our food for us. It was a unique experience, one will we never forget. Thank you!
