Pick up from hotel was on time, a stop on the way ( just happens to be a shopping area) staff in this area follow you around constantly trying to get you to buy something. We got to cruise port then had to wait around for about 1hour to 1.5 hours to get on board.
Boat was good with good rooms and really good bathrooms, view from bed through the large window in the morning as you started to cruise was spoecial.
Food on board was again very good and all staff super friendly. While cruising boat was really quiet which again was good.
Only thing i did feel was a little rushed everything was to the itinerary on board but seemed a little rushed, also a lot of boats near each other when at anchor at night.
Fishing village trip for me seemed like a real put on show? other floating villages i have visited previously you get to see some of the nets and fish that are kept in the nets, here it was just a fleeting glance from a boat going between area's.
Docking back into port was effortless and transfer back was good albeit with another stop at a shopping area.
Overall boat and staff really good just pick up later and miss the shopping area's
Wow, just wow. The most beautiful hair, with the most friendly staff. The rooms and beds were perfect and immaculate. The rooftop sun deck is to die for. They have all kinds of activities to do throughout the day, but also plenty of time to rest. Very well planned out and very thoughtful. The fishing village tour was my favorite. Everything was great. Kien, Li, and Jackee were the best! Thank you all!
We booked through our Hotel in Hanoi a 3 days 2 nights trip on Huong Hai Sea life.
The entire trip is as perfect organized as a clockwork with attention to details! From the pick up at the Hotel in Hanoi to the return to the same after the cruise. All in a very attentive and friendly manor, always with a smile.
A lot of the travelers do only the 2 days trip - I would under any circumstances suggest the 3 days trip. Going deeper inside the Bay and enjoying the Kayaking trip - then included in the price - and the “teacher’s cave” definitely worth the extra day.
In many cases - my trip included - this is a privat day (us and 1/2 guides).
Thanks to the 2 guides with their many good stories and information.
We had a great time on this one night cruise on Halong Bay a few weeks ago as part of a tour visiting Vietnam and Cambodia.
The scenery was really stunning along the bay and one of the highlights of our tour.
We were all pleasantly surprised at the size of our cabins on the boat as well as everyone having there own private balcony on the ship. The ships crew were all very friendly and made everyone feel welcome.
We thought the food was really delicious on the ship. We particularly enjoyed the spring roll demo and sampling that staff member Sunni showed as. They were actually the best spring rolls that we had on our entire trip. The tour director who’s name was Viet was so nice and gave us a That Chi demo early the next morning which was really special watching the incredible scenery go by as we enjoyed his class. We had a great experience on board and also enjoyed the visit to the fishing village and kayaking.
I went on the 2 day 1 night cruise and was very impressed. All the staff were very good especially Sunny. The food was good too however I struggled to eat a lot of the food that they brought out from a set menu as I didn't like seafood so I went hungry that night. The activities they provided were good and the rooms were luxury too. I would definitely do this again.
We had a great cruise. We did the 2 day/1 night and it was just enough to see beautiful Ha Long Bay. Really, you don't need any longer. The staff were exceptional with great customer service, from our hotel pick up, throughout the cruise and back. The boat is very comfortable, food plentiful and with good variety. Note: You do pay extra for drinks on board but still Vietnam prices are good! This was my second trip to Ha Long and second cruise, and by far the best. Highly recommended!
What a cruise to sum it all up. Such great service, spacious rooms, four levels and breathtaking scenery of Ha Long Bay. This is one of the larger boats that was just perfect for our family of four which included our 9 month old girl and 3 yo boy. The staff were extremely accommodating and our kids got on so well with them. Great dining selection and in the evening at 6pm you can not miss the Vietnamese cooking class. We stayed for 3 days (2 nights) which I highly recommend as on one of the days you do a day trip exploring caves as well as one of the islands. There are three stand out staff that deserve a pay rise for their customer service. Jackie, Sunny and Michael! Thank you for an amazing time on board. Have already recommended this cruise to our friends who are planning trips to Vietnam based on your friendly service
