“Wonderful hotel”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

We spent 2 nights here and loved it! When we got off the bus in Dalat we were surprised and delighted to see the owner and his son had come to collect us - a lovely gesture after a long journey. We requested a room towards the back as I am a light sleeper which they gladly honoured.

The rooms were lovely, spacious and immaculate. The only negative thing is that the hot water did not last for very long - after ~3 mins in the shower it went cold and we had to wait for it to heat up again (tank was in the room). Breakfast was included which was excellent - a huge variety of food and lots of fresh fruits. We booked the countryside tour through the hotel which was also very good and our guide was wonderful - we wanted to do the easyrider but it had rained over the past few days and did not want to end up riding in the rain so opted for the minibus instead!

As others have said the location is slightly further away from the town but it takes no more than 15 mins to walk and bicycle hire is free of charge so it is no problem. We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Stay towards the back if you are a light sleeper

After a 4 day easy rider rural tour this place was nice to stay at. My husband and I stayed in 103 for 4 nights.

What I liked
-room was small but very clean with good pillows, mini fridge with drinks, and a shower curtain
- breakfast spread with eggs, fruit, juice, yogurt, bread and coffee. Having peanut butter was awesome and a nice western reminder
-$25 night rate
-located not in the center of town but I liked the quiet and you just have to walk a bit
-wireless

What I didn't
-there was some construction noise in the mornings and our first day was started with 7:30am drilling and hammering
-we reserved 4 nights originally but our easy rider itinerary changed and we emailed 3 days before to let them know we would only need 3 nights and would arrive a day later. We received a guilt trip email lamenting what an inconvenience we had caused. I thought that was unnecessary and unprofessional.
-the owners are cordial and pleasant enough, but very stern and not warm, especially the husband. These created a kind of awkward silent culture also among guests. It was like we were all afraid of dad.

Overall a good value especially for Vietnam. But this is not a warm fun loving place that you feel relaxed in.

Stayed here for four nights. This is an amazing value hotel, the rooms are really clean, the breakfast is excellent and the owner is friendly and super helpful.

You can rent scooters and arrange tours. The easyrider tour we booked through him was the highlight of our stay. The two bikers are not affiliated with the Vietnam "Easy Rider" franchise, so there's no posturing or pointless bragging, and are utterly brilliant guys. Highy reccomended hotel and bike tour.

Dalat is a nice city to spend some time in, the people are friendly, it's small enough to walk around and the scenery is great.

We had a really nice stay here, breakfast was very, very good. The shower was the best I've ever had and the owner is really nice. He booked a bus for us, but we wanted to change it and he just canceled it and booked another bus without a problem. He also booked a tour for us which was a really great tour with much sightseeing and a good english-speaking funny guide.
The beds are also clean, as is the bathroom.
It's about 20 minutes walking to the city centre, but there is a nice restaurant about 300 meters away from the hotel which is good.

We loved it, it is great service and value. Most important things to consider: it is a little walk from town, but it is much quieter there! Showers are excellent, breakfast is fantastic and the owner is very helpful and yet so polite and noble! Let him book all tours and tickets for you, he will take care of you! We asked him to book bus tickets and he advised us very well and he booked two guys from the easy rider group for a day tour! We could not have been more satisfied!

We stayed here for a couple of nights as we passed through Dalat. The owner was exceptionally helpful and picked us up from the bus stop, gave us good advice about what to see, helped us book our onwards journey and was genuinely very hospitable. The room was lovely and we left wishing we could have spent more time there.
