“Maze Bar”

Duong Len Trang (Cafe Tram Mai)
Ranked #13 of 411 Restaurants in Da Lat
Certificate of Excellence
Description: The "Way to the Moon" coffee house, located at 57 Phan Boi Chau St. in the highland resort city of Dalat, is built by the side of the highest hills in the city. Outside, it is a five-story house like all the town nearby, but inside it is a completely different world. Entering the bamboo-shaped gate made of concrete and cement, visitors feel as if the are in another world, a systemn of mystic caves with small winding paths, lianas, secular trees, all are made with concrete and cement but are har-moniously designed to create the single impression of a natural cave in the jungle. It's definetely a place for those who love adventures, stand out places.

One of the most interesting bars to visit for a drink. We went early evening, to miss the crowds and explore. So much effort and intricate work has gone into this bar. Just like the Crazy House. Highly recommend for one or two drinks, any more and there is a high chance you could get lost!!Around five different levels with a basement level also. Staff were friendly

Everyone calls this the maze bar, and once you get inside you'll see why. There are stairs & passageways going in all different directions, & if you have a few drinks it can get confusing. I'm 6' and I had to duck my head the whole time inside, if you're taller than that be warned.

Myself and my partner are two Irish people and landed in dalat for st Patrick's day, of course there isn't an Irish bar here!

We stumbled across this wee bar and it made our day, cheap booze, fun maze and brilliant fun at the top! Definitely be back!!!

I have used trip advisor and put in all the search categories for what we wanted Vietnamese food child friendly etc and it put this as the top choice for us. We have a baby in a pram and walked there to find wow they don't sell food. It's more like a small pub. Actually looks great for a drunk with friends but not for us. False advertising. I hope the restaurant and Vietnamese food is taken off the search for this establishment.
