Staff here are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice. However, doors here did a terrible job of sound proofing. You sound choose a room in a corner or far away from the hall to prevent noise from some impolite guests at night.

Please note that I am leaving a review based on the private driver service that we used. We did not stay at this hotel

Our hotel we stayed at tried to scam us (Green City Hotel) so we had to use another which left us nervous that it wouldn't actually happen. But it did and it was fine.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful with our request

We booked the private driver service to Saigon. They picked us up from our hotel in Dalat (15mins early) and dropped us off at our hotel in Saigon

Takes 7hrs ish which includes toilet and lunch stop. (Ours included changing of a flat tyre haha)

Our driver spoke broken English but he understood our requests.

The only down side was that the driver drove too fast at certain times and overtook cars at the craziest times (on blind corners etc) but then again all Vietnamese drivers are like this I suppose.

Rooms vere very nice indeed and very recomendable. Omelet for breakfast was under average, but excellent ginger the.

In the basement there is masssage, but only in single rooms. The woman massaging me asked several times weather I wanted intimate massage, and allmost did'nt take no for an answer. Very incomfortable experience. Very bad massage (she was proberly good at the other kind I was'nt interested in:)).

Cam Do hotel is in Da Lat city centre within walking distance to everything. There is a club attached to the hotel so it could be noisy late at night. The hotel is popular to Vietnamese tourists.

Liked — The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious and nice for the hotel level.

Disliked — The breakfast buffet needs improvement. The food runs out quickly and some items are not replenished. The traffic noise from the street and houses next door can keep you up late and wake you early.

I wouldn't recommend it at all. Very noisy, up until midnight and at 5:30 am the noise began al over again.
The staff run around with walkie talkies but do not do anything about the noise.
There should be free internet, but if you stay on the third floor, the reach isn't strong enough. In fact, the only place in the hotel that you could have good reach was in their café ...
When we went to breakfast at 7:45am, the staff came in to our room and took off the sheets of the bed and all the towels were gone to. We saw that when we came back from breakfast at 8:30 am. We still had the room until 12 at noon.
When we checked in we mentioned that maybe we were going to stay for 3 nights or more, we weren't sure jet. No problem, they sayd. But later in the afternoon they surprisingly said that for the next day we had to look for another hotel because they were full, so why didn't they mentioned this in the beginning!!!!
When you want to speek with someone about your complaints, you get the answer: so sorry, no one here to see you.
For the breakfast, it was only vietnamese food, oh yes, there was bread and eggs, but no butter, no jam, ...
So I would say, as a European, don't go there ...

Room Tip: All rooms are very noisy!!!!!!!

I got a room on the corner of the intersection and it was quite noisy throughout the night. The shower head had issues it would leak off the tub, so showers had to be taken pretty quickly.

The bed was not very comfortable and the location was still a bit far from the attractions.

I understand that Dalat is cold compared to the rest of Vietnam, but I missed having AC as I still found it hot.

All in all I've stayed in much nicer 3 star hotels.

Room Tip: Get one that doesn't have windows to the road

before i went to this hotel in Dalat i read the reviews on tripadvisor and was very sceptic when i arrived. I was almost in a bad mood because i already did the booking before i read the the reviews and was a bit afraid if i like my staying in this hotel.
But now i'm in a good mood. When i arrived the crew helped me very friendly in some basic english, just like me ( i'm from Holland). I slept 3 nights in Cam Do Hotel and i slept really good. Sure to take youre earplugs with you, but in every hotel in Viettnam i needed them , so i guess its normal. When youre complain about the motorcycles better not come to Vietnam, in HCM alone are already 4 million motorbikes. So this is what you here at night in Vietnam!! In the early evening there was a lot of noise on the frontside of the hotel, i heared also the karaoke thing ( also normal in VN) but around 21:00h they stopped and the traffic was getting less. The fishmarket is on the corner and its very small. i didnt smell anything in my room, only some inscence of the buddistst. The next morning i was the first in the breakfastroom, i ordered Op La this is vietnamese for baked eggs and took coffee. The typical vietnamese french bread and some watermelon, butter and some meat for the bread. this is the breakfast you get in almost every VN hotel with 3 star, so don't complain about this again. For the rest they have enough asian food and some soup, but because i'm a western guy, i preffer bread and coffee. OK some jam would be nice, especially in Dal its famous of the jam. The coffe was good enough, if i may suggest, make an icecoffee, this taste the best! So what i need more?? clean room, nice staff, good bathroom, breakfast was fine, i slept as a rose had a nice massage and it was valueble . So 3 star is good for Cam Do do you expect more? take a higher ranked hotel?!
