I guess we were luckier than others, at least there was water in it when we were there, feb 2011. But it looked about 3 metres down from full, and there was garbage everywhere. I know this is standard for SEAsia, but for the central attraction for a town with little else to offer, they need to make an effort to clean it up. They're planted a lot of trees around the lake, but for some reason, not shade trees, which would be very welcome. Also more benches please.
