Owner description: "The crazy house" is part art gallery, part hotel and all the whimsy of an eccentric architect. Have a cup of tea inside a giant giraffe, visit the monkey cage and relax in the sculpture garden.

“Must see in dalat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 24, 2012

Simply bizarre. Staircases to nowhere, rooms somehow fitted in to an overall architecture that is baffling. Definitely worth an hour or so to visit whilst in Dalat. Kids had a great time.

I have not seen anything like this anywhere else and cannot see it getting past local building regulations in most western countries!

“Crazy House says it all”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012

A fun place to visit. You can easily spend an hour here exploring all the nooks and crannies - and they're still adding on. A really wild place you don't want to miss.

“Crazy Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

This place indeed lives up to its name - a crazy, crazy house.

Designs that almost seemed impossible to construct and rooms too scary to stay in. Guests must be crazy enough to stay in this guest house for a night as most of the rooms do not seem well-kept enough and its more for the experience rather than the comfort.

As visitors can walk into any random rooms and lie on the beds, one can only wonder how sanitary the rooms really are.

But as one of the top 10 weirdest places in the world, it still warrants a visit

Caution - Some stairs have low railings and some parts of the property are precarious, so do walk with caution, especially if you visit at night (like i did)

“What is this ?!?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2012

OK, we should have known as it is called Crazy Hiuse, but still it was a great surprise to see such a bizar, unique and - yep - crazy building in Dalat, a town that seems quite far from trends and hypes. In a big city this would probably get famous. It's worth the visit, staying in the guesthouse is probably not such an appealing idea. We visited the Crazy House on a tour with the Dalat Easy Riders (www.vietnam-motorcycle-easyriders.com).

“Not so crazy experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2012

This place is like someone trying to be Hundertwasser... One would even say it's a kitsch, but after visiting the Valley of Love, it is definitely not. The place is a bit overpriced, but interesting, and if you have time, why not? After spending a couple of days in Saigon it was a refreshing attraction as it is totally different.
