Guides were terrific and passionate...so different from much of what we experienced on the few organized group activities we did while in Vietnam. We did not feel like cattle, we were well looked after, and these guys really want you to have a great time. Our group are all athletic and they kept the pace up to keep us challenged.
Wear good shoes, long pants, enjoy the amazing views of the mountains and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife hiding where you least expect it.

I did the canyoning tour and the 3 peaks hike with Groovy Gecko, and I can only recommend both.

They picked me up in the morning as promised, took me to the canyon, where after some training we jumped into the adventure and into the water: sliding, abseiling, jumping off the rocks all day, somewhere in the middle a nice lunch, where the only rule is that the group has to eat everything.

Just do exactly what the guides say, when they tell you to run and jump, don't stop, or you will hurt yourself. If you are not sure of yourself, tell them, they will find you an easier way.

Sometimes we had to wait to get to the rocks, since there are a lot of tour operators, and some groups are huge. Maybe they should let the small groups forward, so they don't have to wait almost an hour wet and cold for the "washing machine".
Anyway, I would definitely do it again.

Second day I went to the Lang Biang mountains.

Small group of hikers, 2 guides, we got a bottle of water at the start, and go...
Started our trip next to the coffee plantations, up then in a pine forest, and near the peeks in the jungle. The guides explaining the local vegetation and fauna all the time, they prepared us a filling lunch at noon. If you are lucky, you can spot some endemic birds as well.

The mountains are beautiful, the view is spectacular, you can take same fantastic photos.
The trail is as steep, and especially in the rainy season it gets slippery as well. Make sure you take a shoe with a good grip, and pants for the jungle undergrowth to protect you legs.
I don't recommend this trip for beginners, but people who hike regularly or are generally fit should have no problem, it will be a good workout for your legs.

We did the canyoning tour today and it was awesome! We had so much fun!
Originals we had planned to rent motorbikes and just go around to see the waterfalls but this was so much better! The activities were amazing and the guides were super friendly and helpful! We felt absolutely safe all the time!
