Paris Hotel is the perfect base for your Dalat visit. The location is excellent - only a 5 minute walk to the lake and just 10 minutes to the market and all the restaurants. It's decently quiet (this is Vietnam, after all, with its nonstop construction and motorbikes running at all hours of the day!). The finishings of this hotel are beautiful and feel high-end for the price, especially the big warm blanket to keep you warm in the cool Dalat weather at night. Rooms are spacious and clean. Wifi is great, and the service is wonderful. The family that owns it speaks little English, but they are so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us adding on extra nights during a busy season, moving rooms for us due to a shower drain issue, etc. They are so sweet, and their baby and pugs are adorable! Only downside is water temp - you only get 10 minutes of hot water, and it takes awhile to reheat for the next person. Pillows also aren't the best. Nonetheless, I would stay here again in a second!

Room Tip: Spring for one with a balcony. It will probably be a little louder since it's streetside, but w...

The room was big and super clean (a very sweet, smiling cleaning lady came every day), the bed and the linen was comfortable and the shower had a great "schwosch". I also had a cute balcony with city view plus a little table where I could sit drinking tea for free. All the details in the well-kept room felt quite luxurious, new and very French (but stay in this kind of hotel in Paris, France, and you will be ruined, haha). I spent a lot of time in my room and enjoyed it. The staff was really friendly and laughing (sooo NOT like the people on the street, always screaming/proposing/trying to sell you everything from strange motors to clothing). The language barrier was not a problem, because I got what I needed and the most important thing – the staff were very warm and genuine. The location was good. And the price: 4 nights, 4 bottles of water, laundry + bus ticket to Mui Ne = 94 dollars. Feels ok because the stay was so good. Couples and families who visit the country for only a few weeks and have more money than me (I am traveling for seven months) might not be as thrilled as me but I thought this was a fantastic place. Loved it.

Staff/Management were as helpful as the language barrier allowed, and the price at $30 a night for two twin double beds was good. Clean and reasonably new it is close to the lake and a 10 minute walk to the restaurant area. TV has very few English stations. My last visit I stayed in much larger and more expensive hotel this was just as good.
Being only 3 stories it does not have a lity nor is breakfast offered. Only local coffee is available within a 10 minute walk, but an electric kettle was in our room.

We chose this based on reviews and price. Location is not bad, but we felt the staff just didn't care. We ended up staying at another hotel for a couple more nights. Breakfast was really mediocre. Room was just basic, cold, and quite noisy. Recommend some other hotels in town.

Very good hotel with a great staff! Only the lady speaks english and I think she is still learning, but they work really hard to understand you so to make things work. It causes funny situations, there is no doubt you will absolutely love this staff. For us they booked an excellent bus to nha trang.
The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable! The bathroom is good as well with a nice rainshower and small additional shower for shaving or washing your hair.
Location is good, only a 7 min walk to the market. You'll have to cross the bridge that lies next to the park (left) and lake (right). So the location is good for daytime. Nighttime I would advise you to take a taxi. It is not a dangerous area, but the bridge area is a bit off. All and all I would advise you to stay here, the staff is very kind, the room is spotless, the beds are very good and the bathroom is great!

We stayed for a couple of nights, the hotel was new and very nice. It was located very close to the river and a 5 min walk from the market, the crazy house and the lake.

The owners were always ready to help, they helped recover our guide book when we left it on a bus, booked our bus to the next destination ( without taking a finders fee).
They always gave us an umbrella to take out when they thought it might rain.
We had an amazing stay there.

Spent 4 nights at Paris Hotel, and were pleased for what we paid ($24 USD per night after taxes). The hotel is clean, room is small but well organized. Recommend a room without a balcony, as the road noise and rooster in front of the hotel is quite noisy. Bed is comfortable. No heater or AC in room, which can be a little uncomfortable. Hallways smell like smoke because one of the staff smokes in the lobby all day. Owners are absolutely delightful!! Location is a little bit out of city center; not sure I would say it's a great location, though it is on a quieter street than many of the hotels closer into the city center. Lack of breakfast at hotel or nearby is challenging. We would probably stay here again anyway.

Room Tip: Front rooms with balcony have nice views, but road noise is quite abundant at all times of day and n...
