Found this difficult to score as visited it as a tourist sight, not a guest house to stay in. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our experience due to all the construction going on (Wednesday 19 March) - felt like we were walking round a building site most of the time! Think it will be worth a look when that building work has finished, and if you can have the peace and space to walk around when there aren't any tour groups visiting...

I loved the house from the first minute! I came in the late afternoon, so the last visitors were leaving and the house was left almost alone for me to research all the wired, fantastic places. That, you can do only if you stay there overnight, as during the opening hours there are just too many people to admire the masterpiece in peace.. I really loved it. The history of the house and its arhitect is also interesting and she even lives in the central part of the house and her sun with his family downstares. Real fun for big and small kids. It was a special and unique experience and I would love to spend more nights there.

A very interesting and unusual place to spend the night. Why? Because it is a hotel and a tourist attraction. Buses are there every day. This must be a consideration if you decided to stay there.
For TravelinAlan, it was an easy decision. I stayed 2 nights, one in the Bear room ($20 US) and one in the Kangaroo room($25 US). What a remarkable experience for me. 2 unique rooms in this crazy, and I do mean crazy, environment at perhaps the most unusual hotel on the planet. The photo ops are amazing.
On the downside are those tourists each day, no restaurant and an a not very central location.

Room Tip: Go to their web site and decide for yourself. It's all there. The rooms are more for couples tha...

We didn't stay but visited during the day. This place was nuts but so much fun climbing up and over the big bridges to check out all the rooms. I would totally want to come back and stay in one of these 'alice in wonderland" style rooms. It was really pretty with all the bright flowers surrounding the houses.

It would be a bit weird to stay here as the public is walking past your room all day because o the tours. As a tourist, you are able to peer into the rooms. Very cool to see and the architecture is one of a kind. I wish this was labeled as an attraction and not a guesthouse on here though.

Loved this place, quite unique and definitely worth a visit. Very very creative. Don't think I'd like to actually stay here knowing it's open to the public for viewing every day but I would put it on my list of things to see in Dalat

Crazy house. It’s hard to know what to say about crazy house. You probably need to visit it for its uniqueness. It reminded me of a children’s playground. If you don’t like heights you probably won’t take the steps to the very top as the last set of steps are quite narrow (40cm)
and there is no rail. It is a shame that the rooms are not open, that is you cannot enter them, jut view them from the door. I wanted to get a photo of the kangaroo room, actually the Kangaroo, but I was unable to get a good shot of the kangaroo without entrance to the room.
