It is quite busy and it was difficult to appreciate the surroundings and the waterfall with so many people around.

Stay away from the Bow and Arrow stall as you exit the roller coaster. They will constantly feed you arrows to shoot. Without knowing, i kept shooting, thinking its free, but it all adds up.

Other than that, Datanla falls had a nice view and the roller coaster was fun, especially in the cold air.

There are little cars on a track down to the falls, a lot of fun, they get up a bit of speed around the bends. At the bottom there is a waterfall then a pulley sytem takes the car back up to the top.

Only beautiful 10 minute drive from the lake (centre of town)

This is a bit of a tourist magnet. And once you're there, you'll see why. There's a bobsled track which you can take down to the waterfall and back up again for 40,000VND! plenty of photo opportunities, and a nice place to sit and enjoy a cafe sua da. there is also a few cheap side shows available which are fun for a couple minutes.

On advice of our guest house to cycle(!) instead of take the public bus which she was adamant was too hard for us we began our trip to the falls. Not too bad on the way, but we felt like we were partaking in a mountain stage of the Tour de France on the way back, suffice to say...don't cycle!

Anyway, onto the falls. Yes, very touristy - but the little rollercoaster was great fun, once the slow coaches in front of us had reached the bottom. The falls were nice enough. You can only walk down to one, and to reach the next you have to catch a cable car and pay more money!

Very quiet at the bottom as not many people tend to take the cable car I think. Watch out for ticks as my boyfriend found one in his leg whilst we were at the bottom.

Overall a fun trip out.

I THINK you can also do canyoning here organised on a trip from town...we wished we'd done this once we arrived at the waterfalls ourselves!
