one of the places that our kids mentioned as their favorite,
lots of water, and you can actually stand underneath.

“An adventurous trip for our family”
Reviewed April 10, 2014 via mobile

We went today (10th April) with a 6 and a 9 year old in the pouring rain. Thanks to one of a previous review we took the bus which cost 20,000d each totalling 160,000 both ways. (We were quoted 410,000d EACH at gecko for guided tour, though it includes stop at a pagoda and silk factory).

Firstly despite the rain our 9 yr old loved it, such an adventure for him and he wasn't bothered about the rain he just found the journey tedious. You get to the stop and wait but can't be sure when the bus will come. The Road is windy round the mountain, I was more nervous about the journey than the climb down the rocks.

Our 6 yr old liked it too but was less keen on the weather.

It is slippery and you do need to be slow and careful with your steps, as long as you do that, it's fine. We had read on TA good foot wear is needed but we didn't have any, kids wore crocs but with very careful guiding from us it wasn't too bad. Due to the heavy rain, we didn't venture all the way behind the fall but still saw amazing waters. Just a shame about all the litter left by visitors.

If you like a bit of adventure, this is up your alley, though probably not one for the faint hearted. Even though we got wet (husband got soaked through) we're still glad we did it. Will add some photos of path when back at home as need to up load onto to pc.

“Great reward for the walk!”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

We went to the falls as part of a tour from Crazy Geckoes, guide assisted us the whole way down, and was very informative.

Falls were beautiful, you are able to walk almost underneath and beside the fall, well worth getting wet for!.
Slippery walk down, i recommend sturdy shoes.

“well worth the time”
Reviewed March 24, 2014 via mobile

We caught a local bus and hung out for a few hours listening to the falls and watching the dragonflies. A great afternoon!
