we stayed 3 nights in this hotel, and were very happy there. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the room had nice views and was relatively quiet. We slept very well in the huge bed.
the location was good, but walking in to an unfamiliar town was difficult, and we got a bit lost on the way back.
The breakfast was very generous, but more designed for asian palates, so for us there was not a huge amount of choice.

Stayed here twice in 2 weeks, for one night each time. I should add though that it was a late afternon arrival and early morning checkout, so I didn't really get to check out the facilities.

Hotel seems quite new, rooms are great, colonial style, large, clean, spacious, wooden floors and well appointed with the ubiquitous flat screen TV. Service was pretty good, large breakfast buffet with both western and asian foods. Overall, definitely in the 4 star category.

One tip is to try and book through local travel agents. The price I got was significantly better than the online rate or the walk-in rate. Saigon Dalat is part of the SaigonTourist Group (a local travel agent) so worth trying them.

Dalat is not a particularly big place, so the comments about getting around or being close to things in the city should perhaps be taken in that context.

Compared to say Ana Mandara Villas which have stayed also, whilst Ana Mandara is absolutely wonderful, not sure it's worth the difference in price compared to Saigon Dalat.

Great service, friendly staff, clean rooms as mentioned in other reviews. Location is not as convenient as its about 10 minutes walk to the city centre, walked past a few other hotels that i may try next time instead. Try Ngoc Lan hotel or Empress hotel for greater convenience. Enjoy!!

We were allowed to checkin as early as 9 a.m and hotel is clean and comfy. Baby cot was already in the room, they even clean our rooms twice a day. On the day we left, as our flight was at 6.30 p.m, they allowed us to checkout at 4.30 p.m without further charges.

Short to the market.

Will definitey return to this hotel if I visit Dalat again.

The Saigon Dalat Hotel is a 4 star hotel with a 160 luxurious and comfortable rooms, 4 on site restaurants, 3 bars and cafes and a glassed in swimming pool (that is not heated) and a spa. The rooms run in the following categories: deluxe room, superior room, presidential suite, executive suite, junior suite and penthouse. All have a wide range of basic amenities such as air conditioning system (rarely needed in Dalat – it is cold at night), satellite TV, IDD telephone, mini bar, and a safe. You can use the internet for free in the business center that is to the right of the front desk.
I do not give lightly an across the board top rating for a hotel. In this case - I think that the Saigon Dalat completely deserves such a recommendation. The hotel staff was as much a winner as the room - and from the front desk clerks to the staff in the restaraunt - all experiences were completely professional and friendly - as well as helpful. Of great staffs are made great hotels.
The hotel is about center of the sprawling city and about a 10 minute walk to the central area of the city and market. Getting a cab from the hotel never was a problem in the afternoons when it was raining and could not go by motorbike. It is close by to plenty of places to eat and both the cafes and the little night life there is in Dalat.
The hotel itself looks and smells new and the rooms are very clean and everything in the room looked to be new. All the staff were super friendly, and really helpful. I booked a superior room and because I was in between seasons of tourist travelers – there were not many people in the hotel. That was kind of illustrated to me when they actually had to turn on the lights for the hallway when I got to the floor after checking in. It was like having a hotel all to myself for a day.
There were three really great things about the rooms at Saigon Dalat that just make it a stand out place. The huge rooms had wonderful polished wooden floors and were furnished in a cross between colonial and modern styles that just mixed great. The beds were super soft and comfortable and had stylish comforters and this probably was the best sleep I had in Asia. The rooms in the Saigon Dalat really just have so much class, and I thought it was probably the most beautiful place have stayed in anywhere in Asia. But best of all was the French doors and the balcony that over looked the area of the city was in. The view and watching the rain sweep into the valley was just stunning.
