Went there with a group and the service was ok. Food, too, was ok. Nothing too creative but good soup and spring rolls. The rest was forgettable though not bad. Carrot cake for dessert was bad.

The "italian" coffee and food in general is expensive and mediocre by Dalat standards. The service is not bad, though a smile would be nice.

We look on TripAdvisor for some reviews on this place and believed them....we were so wrong!!!! The food was horrible, we had the grand-mom pork dish and the spinach-sausage canelloni and the only edible thing was the bread and the garden salad!! it was tasteless for the pork and weird tomato taste for the pasta dish! Service was awful too...no problem for taking the order but they bring the salad first and when the main course arrived it was all cold!! No one came back to see if it was ok or if we needed anything else (the place was not full, it was Monday evening). we only saw the guy again when we made a sign for the bill. He brought the bill and again never ask about the quality of our evening or food .... we paid and left, very disappointed! I don't get why people said the food is outstanding....we had better at the market food court! On the plus side, the drink are cheap and yes there is some music which is not bad. I believe the owner opened another restaurant and may not keep an eye on this one. AVOID AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Sorry you didn't enjoy your visit. Usually the food and service are good or great, but something must have happened that day. Sorry. Safe travels.

I first visited V cafe in 2007 and it remains a classic Dalat cafe. Visited twice for the terrific mango salad. Disappointed not to see the lemon meringue pie I loved in 07 but still a nice place to eat and drink.
